Fade to Black: Soft Motion Studios is no longer. I suppose some things are not meant to be. While there were the very few who wanted what Soft Motion Studios offered, it would seem that, even those who did want it, did not believe their friends would want it too. So with some bitterness, I'm closing the doors completely. But what of those who still don't have their DVD? The following clients are still on the books, and will still receive their DVD(s). I was slow before. It's worse now. I have had to take a day job that consumes over 10 hours every day. I want to please. I want to say that it will be done tomorrow, or next week, or next month. But the honest answer is simply that I will complete them as fast as I can. I hate this intense feeling of guilt and debt that I feel with each incomplete project. I can't really move on until they're all done. The List So here is the list. Each film will be completed in chronological order as fast as I can complete it without compromising the quality of my work. If you are still on the list and it is just simply taking too long and you need it done no matter who does it, email me and I will sign over the copyright to your raw footage and give you the original camera tapes with the understanding that once I have done so, I am no longer under any obligation to you. You are free at that point to take your footage to whomever you would like (or edit it yourself) but I do not foresee anyone choosing this option, but it's there if needed. No longer having a wedding business or a studio I do not have room to store them all. In the past, raw footage had been available on a case by case basis for $1,000.00 each tape. Most of the time we shot about 7 to 10 tapes. Again, email me if you want them and we will make arrangements for their delivery. I'm sorry to no longer be filming weddings. I loved every one of yours and even under this extreme stress and time crunch I'm enjoying editing each and every one.
